Dear patients, dear relatives,
our Departments of Emergency Medicine offer comprehensive and immediate care, 24 hours a day, 365 days a year for acutely ill or injured adults and children. We offer outpatient care emergency care and, if necessary, inpatient care dependent on patients medical condition. A triage system enables us to treat patients accordingly to severity of illness or injuries. This may result in longer waiting times for patients presenting with less severe illness or injuries.

When to go to the Emergency Department?
Medical ambulant treatment of illness or injuries is provided by physicians with practices, general practitioners and specialists. You will find several addresses of doctors with practices in any local directory. If you are unable to get to a doctor's office, you may contact the Association of Statutory Health Insurance Physicians (Kassenärztliche Vereinigung Berlin), they offer home visits by the doctor 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. In case of life threatening illness, injury or complaints please call the Emergency Medical Services (EMS) nationwide 112!
